Enterprise Rent-A-Car is an internationally recognised company that has more than 70,000 employees and over 7,000 rental offices throughout the United States, Canada and other countries of the world. Though such a large entity with millions of customers worldwide, Enterprise previously did not believe in loyalty programs. While its Enterprise Plus scheme had been active for nearly five years prior to the Comarch-led relaunch, it was a recognition program rather than a loyalty program – members were recognised with faster checkout procedures and occasional discounts, but they weren’t actually rewarded.
Realising that a great deal of its millions of Enterprise Plus members could benefit from a true loyalty program, Enterprise Rent-A-Car chose Comarch Loyalty Management to fuel the relaunch of its Enterprise Plus program in 2012.
For the relaunch, Enterprise was looking to fulfil specific requirements:
The company needed a loyalty tracking solution able to support a large-scale platform with the capability of serving millions of members
The company needed to utilise the system with minimal hardware investment – a PaaS model where a vendor is set to maintain and host the provided hardware, software and other services
